Extension personalpage: Create a page which fits the needs of every user
Probably everyone knows that not everybody wants or needs the same information. Out of this reason pages like iGoogle (http://www.google.at/ig) get more and more popular because there the user can create his own personal page.
This gadget has been introtuced to the TYPO3 world by Tim Lochmüller the 1st time because he created the cool extension myDashboard which does the same thing but only for backend users!
This extension enables the same features for users in the frontent. But not only normal frontend users (which need to log in) but also normal website users can use this extension.
The selected elements (which are basically normal content elements) are saved for every user either in the database or just using a cookie. You can try this by using the login with the user "usera" and the password "123". Don't forget that you share this account, so anyone can change the settings which you have saved!
Elements can be moved between column 1 and column 2. More cols can be allowed at the backend.
