EXT chnewsfeeds - tt_news RSS Feeds
The extension chnewsfeeds allows an editor to display links to RSS feeds of selected tt_news categories.
It is also possible to set a title & description for every single feed. If there is no information available, the title & description of the category is displayed. This is done by TS and can be changed.
The feed itself will be still done by tt_news, the exteison just display the links in a nice & template-based way!

Irgendwie bekomme ich das nicht zum laufen. Gibt es denn keine detaillierte Anleitung, die genau erklärt was wo zu beachten ist?
Die Anleitung von tt_news dazu, wenn das läuft, dann mit chnewsfeeds darauf aufbauen. chnewsfeeds macht nichts als die links

Is it possible to remove the tx_ttnews[cat] from the links in the xml output? The links in the xml will work without, in my case.

Wirklich tolle Extension, wie üblich. Deine kleinen Helferchen sind unbezahlbar!
In Deiner Anleitung könntest Du auch noch folgendes reintun, nur so als Gedankenstütze, damit kriegen die einzelnen Feeds einen eigenen Titel, usw.
Auch geht in der Anleitung der Link nicht auf diese Seite, sondern eine andere.
Weiter so, funky rulez!

im flexform_ds.xml gibt es einen eintrag:
<foreign_table_where>AND tt_news_cat.pid=36 ORDER BY tt_news_cat.sorting</foreign_table_where>
den wert 36 ersetzen durch ###STORAGE_PID###:
<foreign_table_where>AND tt_news_cat.pid=###STORAGE_PID### ORDER BY tt_news_cat.sorting</foreign_table_where>
dann wird nach dem speichern auch die kategorie übernommen

Hallo, danke für den bugreport, mit 1.0.1 ist das gefixt!
Eine sehr nützliche kleine Extension die genau meinen Bedarf treffen würde. Ich habe allerdings Probleme mit dem Einrichten der Extension: Aktuell ist das Plugin wohl verfügbar und ich kann die gewünschten Kategorien auswählen, allerdings gehen diese beim Speichen der Einstellungen immer wieder verloren. Ich wäre für einen Tipp sehr dankbar.

I also have a question, because I have following error which I cannot resolve and I have no RSS experience:
XML-parsefout: geen element gevonden
Locatie: www.myside.nl/index.php
Regelnummer 1, kolom 1:
In English: A XML-parse-error; no element found. Rownumber 1, column 1.
Do you know what's wrong and give me a hint?

Hi Andreas, I guess this has nothing to do with this extension, so please ask in mailinglist or forum and not here! hint: no element is displayed > error! or you got an empty line in the xml-feed which is not allowed!
I'm so stupid.... I forgot to include RSS in tt_news :-(
PS: I noticed a very small error in yhe chnewsfeed manual: 1.4 You like the extension. The link for a posting is linked to chloginskin. It's just because you write so many excellent extensions!
